Award retained for employee satisfaction

JMC is celebrating once again after retaining a top employer award for its continued commitment to creating a first-class working environment.

For the fifth year in a row, JMC has been included in The Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies to Work For.  Positioning on the list is largely determined by employee responses to questions about their working life and looks specifically at the categories of leadership, personal growth, well-being, team support, ‘giving something back’, and fair deal.

JMC is one of the few companies that have been accredited on the list every year since it was established in 2004, and received specific praise for the commitment of its staff, with 85% of all employees being proud to work for the organisation. Job security also scores highly, with JMC ranking 8th on the list, with 87% of all employees feeling safe in their job roles. One of only twelve IT companies across the UK to feature on the list, JMC is the only IT company in the North West to be recognised.  Out of all the companies recognised across the North West JMC were ranked sixth best - a great achievement.

JMC IT managing director, Andrew Burgess commented, “We are delighted to receive this accolade again this year, and are very proud that our continual efforts towards creating a rewarding working environment are being recognised by both employees and the wider business community.  Providing a healthy and enjoyable workplace ensures that we attract committed and talented employees, which in turn leads to first-class client service and levels of satisfaction.”
