2011 is a big year for JMC - we hit our landmark 30th birthday and celebrated in style.

The company started life in 1981, the year the word 'Internet' was uttered for the first time and the first IBM PC was launched. Since then, we really feel like we've grown up with the industry.

It will come as no surprise to know that true to the JMC spirit, we upped sticks and headed for Frodsham, Cheshire, for an action-packed weekend of adventure sports and celebrations. From quad bike trekking to clay pigeon shooting, archery and air rifling, competition was fierce within the team. But we ended the day on a relaxed note with tea and scones on the shooting lodge veranda before heading to the hotel for more civilised pursuits.

Why celebrate? Hitting the big 3-0 in the IT industry is a rare achievement - few firms in our sector have been around as long. Our staff and clients have been key to our longevity and success - our average client, and employee, have been with us for over ten years. And we want to thank both for helping us reach this amazing milestone. Here's to the next 30 years!
