JMC IT presented its key trends and ideas on ‘IT as a foundation for change’ at a recent Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) conference in London.
As the only private company to be invited to present at the one-day event in March, JMC’s Peter Wilson and Mark Summers explored ways in which IT can contribute to efficient and innovative delivery of service to tenants.
Through a real-life case study where JMC delivered a centralised virtual network to a 600-user, 16-site housing organisation to facilitate a merger, Peter and Mark explained how IT could create a scalable and agile platform for a housing provider to affect change.
JMC, which was recently awarded the highest three-star rating as an employer by Best Companies, has worked closely with the social housing sector as an IT partner for more than 15 years. Clients include some of the biggest housing groups in the North of England, including: Mosscare Housing Ltd, Harvest Housing Group, Irwell Valley and Yorkshire Housing.
Mark Summers, head of technology sales and housing specialist at JMC IT, says: “Housing technology is a real specialism at JMC and it’s great to be invited as a trusted partner to speak about IT issues in the sector. We have longstanding and close relationships with many social housing clients who have seen real benefits from the strategic, value-led approach we take to enable change within their organisation.”
“Interestingly, our Best Companies three-star status was high on the agendas of many of the attendees looking for an IT partner, so it’s great to see that this accreditation remains valued within the industry,” he adds.
