JMC and i-Paye

i-Paye is a Liverpool based umbrella service provider who offer administrative, accountancy and legislative support to a large client base of self employed contractors. From humble, home-based beginnings, i-Paye has flourished into an award winning, £60m business.
In order for their business to grow as they would have wanted to, whilst retaining the high quality of service which helped to established their client base, i-Paye required improved IT infrastructure and support. They turned to JMC for the solution. In the early days, i-Paye had simply relied on Microsoft Excel as the core business system for capturing financial information and more, but soon the need for a more robust kind of IT support became apparent. The new relationship, with JMC, would counteract any risk to data integrity and improve the company’s efficiency.
But JMC offer more than a set of tools, and were chosen by i-Paye because beyond finding the right software, i-Paye needed IT support which they could rely on; for expert consultation and technical knowhow.
In cooperation with i-Paye, JMC has installed and supported front and back office systems since 2006. The highly experienced JMC team has proactively guided i-Paye on IT issues pertaining to its growth and has demonstrably helped to drive the business forward; providing an invaluable contribution to the i-Paye success story.
JMC installed a Pegasus Opera based finance system, as an interim measure, but the company’s budget was soon expansive enough to accommodate an improved piece of software; a comprehensive suite that could support their growing expansion. Microsoft Dynamics NAV, with its strong Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) was chosen as the preferred platform and JMC worked closely with i-Paye director Shaun McGrail to successfully manage the migration from one system to the other within a strict budget and timings schedule.
McGrail says “If we were still reliant on our previous systems we simply wouldn’t be where we are today. Dynamics NAV and JMC’s ongoing support has been integral to the success of the business.”
