JMC IT wins regional Healthy Workplace Award 2007

JMC IT has been named as the North West regional winner of the Healthy Workplace Awards 2007, sponsored by Yakult.

Recognising the consistent efforts of JMC to create an enjoyable workplace that promotes staff health and wellbeing, the Healthy Workplace Award 2007 is a welcome addition to previous awards that acknowledge JMC’s proactive approach when it comes to looking after its employees.

Over 500 companies submitted an entry and JMC was proud to be announced as one of just 11 winners nationwide.

JMC has proven its strengths in a number of areas, not only in sports with a running club, circuit training classes and the provision of mountain bikes, but also in encouraging an active social life with its Educational Recreational Fund (ERF), participation in local charity events and regular organisation of ‘extreme sports’ including rock climbing and gliding.

JMC is awaiting the announcement of the overall winner of the Award, who will receive an all expenses paid trip to Japan, but has already enjoyed a free fridge full of Yakult.
