Happy 25th birthday JMC IT!

Established in 1981, the same year that IBM launched its first personal computer, JMC IT has reached the significant milestone of a full quarter of a century in operation.

Over the past 25 years, both JMC and the IT marketplace have seen huge changes; the PC is now commonplace in businesses and homes and technology has moved on to give us laptops, tablets and more mobile methods of working.

From its humble beginnings JMC IT now has a turnover approaching £9million and over 100 staff. Managing director Andrew Burgess puts it down to the company’s consistent approach: “Over the years we have seen an ever-growing portfolio of products and services, yet we have remained committed to the same approach, to develop lasting relationships with our clients. Many of our clients have been with us for a large proportion of our first 25 years and we look forward to celebrating our anniversary with them over the coming months.”

As part of a year-long calendar of activities to commemorate the special anniversary a party was held for JMC staff and clients at Manchester United Football Club and all staff and their partners were taken on an all expenses paid weekend in Puerto Banus.
