Challenge 9 – Swimming

The pressure was on for the 9th challenge, as Team JMC had to swim to win and stay in the Decathlon race.

This challenge really lived up to both team’s expectations as yet another nail-biting, adrenaline-fuelled event.

The event started with a series of individual races, followed by a full team medley for the grand finale. After starting the medley a point down, Team JMC faced a tense tie-break situation with one team member having to swim again to decide the team’s fate.

In the end Team JMC took the win by a matter of a few inches.

There are now two events left, after an eleventh challenge had to be added in case of a tie-break situation.  Team JMC next face Ribby Hall Village in a crucial five-a-side football tournament in November.
