Challenge 10 – Football

Challenge ten of the decathlon was a five-a-side football tournament.  Two games were played and the scores then aggregated to decide the winner.

Both teams had a lot riding on the result.  For Team JMC, it was the last chance to stay in the competition.  For Ribby Hall Village, a win would mean they would have a clear run for the title of Decathlon Winner 2008.

Despite both teams winning one match, Ribby Hall Village were the clear winners on goal difference, and as a result, will now rein champions of the decathlon.

Congratulations go to Ribby Hall Village who are leading the race with a score of 6:4.

In true team spirit we are still going give it our all for the next event.  A netball match will mark the finale of the decathlon on 27th November.  We are still training hard, and despite there being no chance of us winning the overall competition, we will still put forward a strong team.
