JMC achieve Best Companies 2 star status
JMC IT has been awarded 2 star status in Best Companies Accreditation 2008 for the third consecutive year.
Competition increased this year with the number of companies entering growing by a third compared to last year. Out of the 307 accredited organisations JMC was the only IT company from the North West and one of just 18 IT companies across the UK to receive an award.
The Best Companies Accreditation scheme examines employee engagement in the workplace and ranks companies based on results from an employee survey. The survey consists of 66 questions and covers eight factors including leadership, employee well-being, personal growth, and giving something back to society.
The scheme follows a ‘Michelin star’ system with one star for ‘first class’, two stars for ‘outstanding’ and three stars for ‘extraordinary performance’.
Jonathan Austin, chief executive at Best Companies commented:“Our role at Best Companies is to set a rigorous benchmark so that organisations can become even better employers.”
JMC strive to be a great place to work and look forward to rising to the challenge for next year’s accreditation.
