Sophisticated and Flexible Analysis The facilities within the Nominal Ledger can easily adapt to the analytical requirements of a business. Multiple dimensions make it easy to analyse key information, such as expenses or revenues, by nominal account, cost centre, department or project. Nominal budgets can be specified at account level and at dimension level. The financial position is always available and can be analysed and interrogated using the highly configurable and user definable dynamic view screens. Sophisticated Financial Reporting Opera II provides extensive financial reporting facilities including an eXcel Reporting Layer (XRL). It is an intuitive addition to the capabilities of Microsoft Excel and provides powerful and adaptable access to the information held within Opera II. With its flexibility, ease of use and advanced drilldown capabilities, Opera II XRL delivers fast and accurate information to provide enhanced analytical power, which assists and simplifies even the most complex decision-making process. Purpose-built functions allow dynamic access to data from the Opera II modules to populate Excel worksheets. Alternatively, data can be populated into a data cube to allow multi dimensional analysis to be performed. Information such as Nominal Ledger budgets can be manipulated in Excel and can be automatically written back into Opera II to save time and effort. Order Fulfilment, Inventory and Manufacturing Fulfilling orders and keeping stock levels to an optimum and manufacturing costs to a minimum whilst maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction, are key objectives for any successful business. Opera II simplifies the most complex of order processing and manufacturing requirements; whether it's order entry, traceability, back to back processing, allocation of stock or assembly kitting, Opera II delivers all this and much more. Payroll and HR Opera II Payroll and HR solution has been revolutionised. Working closely with the HMRC, Central Government and existing customers, the Opera II Payroll and HR solution was the first professional application to gain IR approval for eSubmission (EOY Returns), has been fully tested and meets the HMRC Payroll Standard. Instant Communications Pegasus Instant Messenger (PIM) is an easy-to-configure instant messaging facility, which provides organisations with the ability to quickly define, via a user-friendly wizard, business rules, or criteria, which can be monitored on a periodic basis. Processes and issues such as the escalation of overdue invoices, stock level monitoring and budgetary control thresholds can now be highlighted using a user definable message or task which is sent automatically to the relevant recipients on the network alerting them to the information in a pop-up window. Alternatively, a text or HTML format E-mail can also be sent. It also provides on-line collaboration by allowing PIM clients to discuss and respond to business issues and forward pop-up messages. Developer’s Toolkit The Opera II Developers' Toolkit allows customisation to fit more closely with the way a company does business. It can be adapted to fulfil any special requirements; forms can be customised, conditions added to fields and menu structures can be modified. Open Architecture The open architecture of Pegasus Opera II allows more information to be processed simultaneously, multi-tasking and greater utilisation of hardware and operating systems.
