JMC defy the weather to deliver business as usual Despite having to close our Riverside office on Tuesday due to the treacherous travelling conditions we have been offering the same high standards of support for our clients as we do when the office is open. Thanks to a substantial investment in business continuity technology including Microsoft Office Communication Server, Cisco Unified Call Manager and Citrix Xen App, employees were sent home on Monday fully prepared to login remotely on Tuesday morning and do business as usual – albeit from home. With minor improvements to the roads on Wednesday a team of just four people managed to get into our Riverside offices, with managing director, and avid mountain biker, Andrew Burgess cycling twelve miles cross-country to avoid the chaos of the roads, to make the building safe for further employees to arrive as and when the conditions allow. Or, to talk to someone about how you can avoid the weather disrupting your business please call us on 0161 925 7777. | |
